  Best value for money that we could find. Private bathroom. Location was very good, close to the old Bangkok and Khao San road. Staff was always available, cheap internet. Many places nearby to eat. - Just off khao san road, so the extreme hustle and bustle wont disturb you, the cafe downstairs is a great place to chill and people watch.

Walked to the Grand Palace, ate in the numerous restaurants within the area while watching backpackers arriving and leaving.   Stayed with husband and daughter 13 years for 2 nights. The hotel is good for those who want to see the historical sights. Very nice hotel location. The boat, which serves as a public transport for 15 baht per person can gain access to the city center. And these trips are replaced by a tour of the canals. Security: felt as though my belongings and myself were safe all the times. Staff: were lovely; very helpful (eg: made phone calls for us), friendly and fun. I would definitely stay again

  Value for money. Good and cosy restaurant and lounge. Wifi free. No lift of course so asked staff to carry our suitcases up, was no problem. Recommend deluxe room. Stayed here 8 years ago as backpacker and now took my mum here and she was expecting less value for 15 dollars. Close to Ko San road but not in the middle of the hussle.   My partner and I have been to Bangkok before and stay in rambuttri which is a minute away, we were starting to think that thailand might have lost its friendliness but Baan Chart gave us a little spot of hope. The chicken satay was so good i do not understand what the Burger King next door is selling.
