Like a small castle, the Hotel La Collina is located on a hillside above the village of Pontresina. The ski lift is a 5-minute walk away and the train station is 10 minutes' walk away. Due to its higher elevation, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Engadine Mountains and the village of Pontresina. The location of the hotel on the sunny side of the village means that you will be enjoying the sun till the late afternoon hours. The resort of St. Moritz is a 10-minute drive away. During summer all public transport in Pontresina can be used free of charge.

Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Always on hand to assist wherever they can. Excellent Thai restaurant downstairs - but reserve a table it gets VERY busy. Friendliness of staff. Overall it was excellent - particularly good was the evening meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast. Not at all - great find!. Perhaps we would try and stay on the third floor - left does not reach fourth floor.
