This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely. Would definitely use this pension when we return to visit our son. Grea

The location is very close to San Sebastian RENFE station. It is also couple of minute to the beach.
It is very clean and almost new since the owner just repaint the pension.
It is definetiley worth place to stay and if I am going to san sebastian, I will definitely come back to this pension

Really beautiful and comfortable palace with the surrounding countryside providing the perfect setting. Only 30mins drive to San Sebastián. 45 mins to Bilboa. Everything was just great. Not hard to find as we put the town location into the Gps and there were signs from the town intersection to the hotel. Hotel also provided us with plenty of info

Beautifully appointed and decorated hotel. Fabulous large bedroom. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful.
Restaurant is outstanding. The chef - a charming guy - likes to meet his guests and talk about his dishes and the way he prepares them. The "black" fillet steak is brilliant!!
All highly recommended.

Ignacio and his wonderful "team" was a credit to this small friendly hotel,nothing was to much trouble,they looked after us splendidly ,even providing a superb meal,even though the restaurant was closed ( we arrived very late after driving 800 k!)

A perfect hotel, especially when travelling between Spain and France a very good solution.
Very good room, completely upgraded, good beds, clean bathroom, perfect shower.
Next morning we took a breakfast. Lot of choice, everything fresh and looked great.
We travel a lot and this is a hotel to remember for the next time!

Brand new hotel with large, comfortable rooms as well as a large shower/toilet. The hotel is paired with a 'sidreria', which is a bit like an oversized pub: hearty food, 9 types of Cider from the (huge!) barrels, as well as red, white & rose wines from the barrel.

The stay here worked out perfectely well. It was so good that we had extended it with additional days. The service and the breakfast were excellent. The owner of the place Mrs Arantxa Arruti had a smile on her face all the time ! The personal in the restaurant was always very accomodating and happy to help.
The place is strategically positioned in between SanSebastian and Bilbao and all the places of interest are within an easy reach.

Excellent experience at Hotel Palacete for a young couple in search of comfortable hotel accommodations for a week of hiking adventures and exploration. Front desk attendant was multilingual and was very helpful during our stay to connect us with local entertainment options and transportation. Hotel location was perfect for our needs - not in busy San Sebastian but a short bus ride away, with plenty available in Hondarribia and a convenient 5-minute ferry to Hendaye, Aquitaine, FR.

Superb value for money, a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach surrounded by mountains in a small bay. They sorted out my diet, helped us to book train tickets on line, helped to sort out the aftermath of a minor accident, were always very friendly...in short wonderful. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was good and comfortable, the breakfast was good- all in all very good value and highly recoemended.

Everything was so nice! The beautiful room with excellent bed, excellent shower, all modern and clean. The service in the bar is very friendly. The hotel is far away from everything, perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature around. -
