- excellent hotel if you travel by car, great location, silent in the evenings, excellent view on the sea, very friendly stuff, easy to reach to San Sebastian, good value for money. You can also travel to the mountain nearby (but somehow you need to pay 2 eur to get to the territory - private territory, we decided to refuse)
Tea and coffee are available all the time. It is a family hotel and you can feel that. very cosy breakfast area and lounge.

Beautiful isolated location among the fields and hills yet only 4 km from the sea. Total silence. Great centre for nature, walking, relaxation but less than half an hour by car from San Sebastian. Large well-equipped studio-apartment you could live in permanently. -

The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

Fabulous town, wonderful food, Hotel is built on a narrow ridge above the bay where you can watch the surfers from your room with a floor to ceiling glass wall. We chose the old style room with wooden shutters looking north with our own balcony and view of red tile roofs, the church bell tower and the ocean in the back ground. Just wonderful!!!! This is a superior hotel and staff; just sorry we were not staying much longer.

Luarri is a little gem located in a peaceful setting on the mountainside but only a couple of minutes by car away from Ondarretta beach. Conveniently, the local bus stops outside the hotel every half hour or so and drops off at the funicular railway and then on to the centre of San Sebastián.
This is a charming, Basque-style, family-run hotel with modern, stylish bedrooms ( only 7, I think).
Belen provided us with directions to the hotel and we found it easily. Free parking was a bonus.
