This is a fantastic place to stay. I agree with a previous review, it
is more like a quality bed & breakfast as it is a large house that
has been exceptionally well restored but retaining lots of the
original features and character. The lady that met us at the reception
was very helpful and the whole hotel was immacuatly clean. Excellent

travelling on motorcycles and this hotel offers free reletivly secure
off road parking. -
Such a beautiful place to stay... the hotel and rooms where stunning. the couple running the hotel were really friendly and helpful. really comfortable beds, an amazing bathroom and just like staying in a grand property. A bit hard to find as there arent many street signs, which is not the fault of the hotel, but make sure you print a good map and directions first!

Everything. This hotel is wonderfull. The location is perfect, at the apex of the waterfront, the grand avenues and the old city. A beautiful old building completely refurbished, and rooms were well appointed. The owners are very professional and very personable, and attentive to small details. I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.

O hotel está bem situado, o estacionamento é fácil nas imediações, está a 5 minutos a pé da zona litoral (comem-se óptimos pratos de marisco), o pessoal é extremamente simpático e atencioso (deram informações preciosas sobre o que fazer, onde comer, etc...), bolos caseiros no pequeno almoço e sumo de laranja natural. -

O Remanso dos Patos is a little gem of a hotel, situated in the truly beautiful Ribeira Sacra region. The hotel is full of character, and the restaurant is a delight. There is a lovely little swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off after a day's sightseeing- especially welcome as we arrived during a heat wave! Natasha, Antony and the rest of their staff were very kind and helpful.

We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we
emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police
station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city
aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was
fantastic to wander through. The room was absolutely comfortable-the

it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!
