  Great place to stay! We were welcomed very friendly, the guesthouse is on a beautifull orange farm, everything well organised and clean. We had a very nice diner and breakfast. The staff aranged a great game drive for us in de Addo park with Crisscross Adventures which was one of the highlights of our trip.   We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! The gentleman who owns the property is very nice - I left something behind accidentally and he even mailed it back to me. The restaurant next door is FANTASTIC too. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too.   We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar.   We stayed in one of the “Swiss Chalet” style rooms on the upper floor. The room was comfortable and clean, though a small fridge would have been welcome. The (outside) stairs to the room are quite steep, and can be slippery when wet. Care is required. Breakfast in the De Oude Martha Restaurant was excellent (buffet style but with eggs cooked to or... o que as pessoas dizem » der) and the food and service in the Hunter’s Pub most enjoyable. We would visit again, but would try to book one on the more expensive colonial- styl - There is not a lot of choice of accomodation in Stormsriver but this place is rather lovely. Great accomodation if a little dark and dated looking in the bedroom and bathroom but a perfect "village" setting. The restaurant is good if not great and the breakfast was excellent. We thought it was good value for money and had a very pleasant stay.

  We booked this on the day..7mins later I had a lovely confirmation email from Marion confirming our stay.
