Wendy and Chris always anticipate the needs of their guests, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly and is the ideal spot for relaxation when not "on the go" as a tourist.   Great place to stay! We were welcomed very friendly, the guesthouse is on a beautifull orange farm, everything well organised and clean. We had a very nice diner and breakfast. The staff aranged a great game drive for us in de Addo park with Crisscross Adventures which was one of the highlights of our trip.   The guesthouse is really pretty but only if you get in the msin aerea( they other bedrooms outside). There is a small but lovely pool and basic but good gym. The restsurant is just excellent!!!! And at very good price!!!'   We loved staying in the rondavels! The whole setting of the property is very pretty. We wished we could have stayed for more than one night! The gentleman who owns the property is very nice - I left something behind accidentally and he even mailed it back to me. The restaurant next door is FANTASTIC too. If we are ever in Addo again, we will defin... wat mensen zeggen » itely be returning. - Rather fun staying in the thatched round cottages, and they had everything you could need including en-suite shower and electrics of course. We were self catering and there is a very well equipped kitchen in the main house together with lounge area and plenty of seating. Very good restaurant adjacent, too. Really helpful and friendly landlord.

  We booked the Victoria and Alfred Guest House randomly because it was close to Port Elisabeth Airport. We just wanted a pad for the night but it exceed expectations with a very comfortable room and en suite facilities, helpful staff and a splendid breakfast. The shops, waterfront, restaurants and a welcoming golf course were a short drive away. - ... wat mensen zeggen » The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The manager phoned to find out what time we'd be checking in, and if there was anything special we'd like in the minibar. My wife wasn't feeling well, and he arranged a special vegetarian meal for us.The room was great, the service excellent and the food was delicious.

  We stayed in one of the “Swiss Chalet” style rooms on the upper floor. The room was comfortable and clean, though a small fridge would have been welcome. The (outside) stairs to the room are quite steep, and can be slippery when wet. Care is required. Breakfast in the De Oude Martha Restaurant was excellent (buffet style but with eggs cooked to or... wat mensen zeggen » der) and the food and service in the Hunter’s Pub most enjoyable. We would visit again, but would try to book one on the more expensive colonial- styl - There is not a lot of choice of accomodation in Stormsriver but this place is rather lovely. Great accomodation if a little dark and dated looking in the bedroom and bathroom but a perfect "village" setting. The restaurant is good if not great and the breakfast was excellent. We thought it was good value for money and had a very pleasant stay.

  We booked this on the day..7mins later I had a lovely confirmation email from Marion confirming our stay. Everything was wonderful, very welcoming, wonderful breakfast (that morning was our 25th wedding anniversary) We didn't tell them but breakfast was so nice, it started our day off perfectly.Wish we could have stayed longer. - Fabulous locatio... wat mensen zeggen » n, room, space, bed! Goed advies voor restaurant gekregen van aardige staf. - Lulana, heel vriendelijke medewerker. Ze heeft ons ook meegenomen naar een township waar zij woont.
