We liked the Greek Theatre in Taormina and the archaeological park in Giardini Naxos and the area is really quite spectacular scenery-wise but generally much too touristy for us. That is one reason we were happy to have found the Villa Archegeta: it is small, quiet and has its own charm. We didn't want a hotel with large groups of tourists and rows of sunbeds on the beach - and there were plenty of those around.

Very friendly and helpful owner, great service, best breakfast we ever had, when we left after only three days we felt like leaving family.
Ninni is the best host. He will do anything for you to make your stay more comfortable. We loved everything about Villa Archegeta.
There really wasn't anything! I can only repeat what some other reviewers wrote: despite Sat Nav which found the road immediately we completely failed to locate the house due to lack of house number and tiny sign at the gate. No-one we asked knew, either. The told us to go in to town and ask again but in the end we phoned and the owner came and collected us.
