That was a trip for 4 days and 4 different locations and as a result- for sure Liberty B&B was the best. Very cousy and unique place which is quite modern equiped but from the other side very autontethical and antique. We felt like at home there. The Owner is even over firiendly :). The room and bathroom were spacious, pretty and had all that we needed. In a very convenient and relatively quiet location, everything is 5 minutes walk away. The owner was amazing: thoughtful, informative and very helpful. In fact, he went out of his way to save us from a crisis regarding our flight home by communicating to relevant people for us, helping us with luggage (two bikes) and also met us at the bus station to make sure it had all worked out well.

Well positioned for Citta Alta, a great base to explore the lakes and other medieval cities of the area. Angelo picked us all up at the airport, very friendly and helpful and his English is better than he thinks!! Highly recommended, very comfortable though quite small. -

It's great! Small family hotel in the heart of the pictoresque medieval town (Bergamo- Alta) with just few minutes walking distance from main square. The apartment was spotlessly clean and and closer to the city than the one I had booked. I could not recommend this place enough!!!(Tho its a different apartment to B&B L'Olimpo :) ) Plus if your talking to Laura, tell her she needs a holiday, 3 days away on a Vespa in 5 years is not enough!!!!!!!!! :) -
It is a very lovely small hotelnot far from the center of Bergamo. Service was good and owner Laura was very friendly. I liked it very much.

Everything about the hotel was so new and fresh we thought it had just opened when we stayed in Oct 08. We were told it was 4 years old. Super room, wonderful bathroom and great breakfast. Would gladly return. And the location was v close to train station (where the bus to the airport arrives and leaves) and a short walk to the old city. All r

Villa Luna is beautifully located above the Città alta only 5 minutes on foot from the city bus. It has scenic view from the terrace. The owner and service are very helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned every day. They served delicious own-made croissants on breakfast :D
I strongly recommend this place.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was good...the shower and all the facilities worked well. The hotel was in a very good location for the lower city and I liked that we were in that area buut near enough to walk to the citti alta. We would come back to Hotel Arli again. The breakfast was excellent. -

Lorenzo the master is very nice and congenial.
The hotel is indeed an apartment in the old building in the centre of the city, almost in front of the walls of Citta Alta. Even cups, wardrobe and bureau are old and pretty.
The breakfast is usual for Italy and is served in the room.
The only disorder is a common bathroom, but it is clean and sanita

i stayed with my wife in this lovely guest house in bergamo city centre. the place was very clean and cosy and it is highly recommendable. the staff was very friendly and helpful, they explained us everything from where are the best restaurants to eat, how to get to the old city(and the old city cathedral is a must see) to how to get to the aeroporto. so it was an excellent experience.

We just stayed one night to catch early morning flight from Bergamo Airport. Location is perfect, 15 minutes drive to- from the Airport.
We stayed in the family room with beautiful Terace-Garden.
Even we left very early in the morning, the owner prepared some sandwiches for us as take away.
Sure will stay also next time.

It was so relaxing to stay at Le Nove Fate! Absolutely beautiful surroundings to wake up to everyday. The owners could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. They really went above and beyond. Only regret is our lack of car which definitely would have made the trip a more enjoyable one for us.
If there had been more to do in the surrounding area it would have been a perfect holiday. But that's our own fault for not looking into it.
I would highly recommend a stay at Le Nove Fate.

Just returned from B&B. It was wonderful, looks like in the photos
(even better). Laura is the best host I ever meet. The location is
perfect, not far from the Citta Alta(25-30 min walking), quiet, close to

Wow! Just peruse the photos and magnify by 100. So well detailed for
charm, ease of stay, beauty and so close to lovely Bergamo. If you are
tired of millions of tourists I reccomend that you come to Laura's
and enjoy the hospitality, beautiful wooded countryside the Old and New
town of Bergamo. The interior of the Bergamo churches exceed Venice. You
will enjoy exploring both new and Alta Citi and the Italian Lakes to the
east of Bergamo along with the vineyards which look and feel like
Chianti.
