  Villa Marin is first and foremost a family hotel .Every aspect of the hotel is run by members of the owning family.The hotel has been in ownership of this family for three generations and it runs very smoothly .The resturant is overseen by one of the brothers who makes a point of going to every table at breakfast to check that the guests are enjoy... o que as pessoas dizem » ing their stay . Any particular request made is satisfied with a smile and a most couteous shake. Of the hand. (Grado is frequented by mostly Austrian - Grado is a lovely town and Villa Marin is in a great location over-looking the sea. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Bed was comfortable. It was extremely hot while we were there but there was a ceiling fan in the room. The room we had had a balcony with a partial sea view.
