Location, location, location! The hotel is exactly in the right place of
Oia - the most charming part of the town, a few steps away from the
observatory where everybody else will run to to watch the sunset. All
rooms are built like those small caves that are typical of Santorini and
have plenty of space. And the swimming pool has a priceless view

The location is excellent as you can watch the dramatic sunset and has a
very good view of the Caldera. The design of the hotel is very Grecian
so if you want to experience or feel like an ancient Greek, this is the
best place! ;) It's beautiful during nighttime. It's not to far
from the main street where you can have coffee or dine in a very good
restaurant and enjoy some Greek cuisine. It is also very accessible to

The whole family owned this hotel was quite friendly and warm. Becides of the free pickup from/to port and airport, Mr.Argyros even drove his van to show us around the downtown of Kamari village and pointed out the location of supermarkets, post office and bus stops. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Atalos very much!

Kamari is just next to the airport, so you can spot the descending planes from you bedroom window. Nice, but noizy. -

George, Barbara and their family went out of their way to make me feel at home and gave me all the information I needed to make my stay an enjoyable one. Hotel had an amazing location right on the caldera, which is a must for
Santorini. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big
money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your
hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent
continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near
the golden road. They had air conditioning.

The landlord, Marios, was very welcoming, and answered all the questions we had regarding beaches, transport, restaurants etc. The room was just like the pictures, fantastic view over the beach, and included all the facilities that you need. They cleaned the room every day, fresh towels and clean sheets every other day. Quiet location, but still close to bars, beach and restaurants. We had a lovely vacataion, and will definitely stay here again.

Everything was great... We stayed 8 days in Fira and the hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of the town, close to everything. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was simply amazing... We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. Where do I start, Samsons village is a awesome place to stay, a real pleasure. The manager John could not do enough for you, a real gentleman. The place was spotless, and the rooms were cleaned everyday to such a good standard, the cleaners were always a pleasure to see. The location ws very good, close to the beach and the bars. I would recommend Samsons village to anyone. About hundred yards from the room was a pub called Dorians, and it is was the best bar around. 2 euros a pint and 3 euros

Strogili has exceeded my expectations. I can not emphasize only one thing. The view from the terrace is spectacular and immense, the hospitality and friendliness of Andreas (the hotel manager) and all staff (Katrau, ...), cleaning is 10 points, breakfasts on the terrace, tranquility and relaxation .... The house is situated in the very heart of Oia. The view is really fantastic. You can either spend some time at the verandah enjoying the marvelous view (which is probably the best all over) or you can walk along the main pedestrian road with all the shops and restaurants which is a few steps away. The bus station is also very close. The house is very nice and clean, and it was a pleasant and unusual experience to live in a traditional Greek house. We could hardly find a better place to stay in

one of the words I would add is ritualistic. the area of oia is in general, but caldera villas allow visitors to feel that connection with nature, history, and raw simple goodness through its dialogues with the cliffs and human settlement. The decor, strategies in design, the food, the hospitality and flexibility of the staff etc. guarantee a wholesome stay.

The view was amazing, the suites are on the cliff face.
The very private nature of the suites, pool, service very good. Nothing was too much trouble for Albert of George, any thing you wanted they would provide.
Very close walking to restaurants and Thira shops and access to the old port cable car, path or donkeys.
