You don't really need a car because there is a little shuttle bus, but it's easier to get to your room, and also in general to explore Rhodes... The staff were very helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels down in town Hillside is also a much more quite location to stay.
Hillside is located about 12-16min walk from town. I am not writing this as a negative as our group was more then happy to save the money we did and just walk.

We just got back from Rhodes, and honestly we didn't want to leave. Our stay at Niohori Rodos Elite Suites definitely helped make for an amazing vacation. Joke constantly went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate any needs that we had, and Fanny was also wonderful. Hotel are managed by family, and they have a farm in island, - Good location, very friendly staff. 24 hour bar, restaraunt, pool tables, music and internet access. breakfast, when we had to run to catch boat and couldn't wait for
the fruit course insisted on reducing the, already modest, bill. Lovely

Very much a family run hotel, with friendly staff, excellent food and ideal for a base to get around Kos island.
The management could not have been more helpful, I would certainly recommend this hotel, but not for late party animals. -
