My family and I had the most wonderful time we spent here. Effi is absolutely charming and always so friendly with everyone. The apartment was spotless and the maid always made sure the room was immaculate. After living here on Crete for two years and spending the last month going to different areas on the Island, my wife and I would love to stay here again when we make a trip back in the future.

We like this hotel very much. We stayed here for the second time and we will almost certainly return. The location in old Platanias is perfect. The poolarea is very nice. The hostess is very warm and helpful. Our apartment was also very nice with two balconies. Maybe we could wish for more kitchen equipment and sidebords.

We had a wonderful week's stay at Maria Suites in Platanias Crete. The room is kept very clean with towels and sheets changed regularly. The pool is of a good size and also kept very clean and there are plenty of sun beds. Everything. The apartment was really spacious, being able to store and prepare food in the kitchen was superb, the pool was beautiful and the design of the suites ingenious. The shower was strong, the air con great and the two balconies brilliant. Plus Maria herself was the very best of hosts, a lovely lady. We cannot wait to return - this was one of the best holidays we have had - we were able to totally relax and that was in large part due to how lucky we were to stay at Maria Suites.
