  We stayed at this hotel for about 10 days, our room was excellent for a 3 star hotel. Room cleaning was possibly the best I've experienced, brilliant white sheets and we never had a knock for room cleaning, our room was always prepared whilst we were away. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  The Achillion is a good mid-range hotel in a slightly seedy part of Athens. It is fortunately not far from the Omonia and Metaxourghio metros, and an easy walk to the National Archaeological Musum. The double-glazing is effective in shutting out street noise. Service was exceptional, a lightbulb being changed within minutes of my mentioning it.   The staff were great, really helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and the receptionist could help you with everything including map, navigation, sightseeing and working time of museums.
