If you want to visit the main historical town, you should choose Kerkyra (Corfu Town). This hotel is located there in Kerkyra. This way you can enjoy beach but also historical buildings. The wifi worked perfectly in the room. I walked from the airport. Shower, was luxury style!! Huge breakfast buffet, with people eating more than they should.   The staff were very professional; they spoke English well and were friendly, helpful, well-informed and well-educated. There was always someone from staff present, 24x7. There was a very comfortable swimming pool, even a small pool for toddlers. The bar at the swimming pool had drinks and food, including milk for our 2yo child. The place is close to the airport. - Close to the airport. Everything you need in one place. 24 hour bar on site, lovely pool and chilled out atmosphere. Bakery, Supermarket and Pizzeria all within 2 minute walk of apartments. 10 euro to get to Corfu town in a taxi. We stayed two nights either side of a 7 day villa stay up north and it worked well for us.
