  We went to see the Cathedral and the surrounding area. Very nice and walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly and allowed us to keep our luggages in a locked and secured room with tags on it. The room is small but we only stayed there to sleep. We were gone the whole day.   The room was modern and clean. The proprietor was very friendly. The center of Aachen is only 12 minutes away. The breakfast was only 5 euro and good value for money (with fresh rolls and an omelet). There was no noise from the pub downstairs, because it was closed. What will this mean for the future? - Everything from the minute I walked in the door ( late 12:30am) I was treated like a king! Very friendly and no language gap but I do speak a little German, owner speaks very good English.
