This 3-star hotel is located directly on the River Rhine Promenade, in the centre of Koblenz. The hotel offers on-site parking and is reachable 24 hours a day. It has a tour desk and ticket service. A free transfer can be arranged from Koblenz Main Station, just 700 metres away. This hotel is situated on the banks of the Rhine River and has a lovely balcony where guests sit out and enjoy drinks and light meals while gazing at all the passing river traffic. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and we were able to hire bikes from the hotel to use along the cycling tracks beside the river. Our room was very large, clean and comfortable and had a huge flat screen TV. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Koblenz.
todos opiniões » The rooms were nice, the location great--we could see the Rhine from our windows, and a nice walk to the Deutches Eck. A few blocks away from the more crowded areas, which was a plus. We had a very spacious double room, with a little sitting area--a great value. Very nice breakfast in a dining room over looking the river. This is a very nice small hotel and I would recommend it to anybody passing through Koblenz. The hotel fronts on to the Rhine; my comfy bedroom on the second floor had a spacious (about 80 sq. ft.) balcony with a lounger, two wicker chairs and a wicker table. A large plane tree partially shaded it and partially restricted the view, but it was lovely. Church bells rang the quarters and hours from across the river. The hotel is excellent. Location quiet, although a bit further from city centre than we originally thought. Staff generally very friendly and helpful (but see also what didnt like). Great views of Rhine from Rooms 32 & 35. Breakfast very good with plenty to choose from. Parking reasonably priced (€4/day)although book a place, there's only six. It's right on the famous river Rhine. They were very good to us and placed us in a nice room with a balcony overlooking the river. The staff were most helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious and the hotel was in a great location overlooking the Rhine. Location by the river. The old town with local; shops and squares. The food in restaurants and service very good. Walks by river and cycle ride. Late evenings in bar or hotel. All very clean and most enjoyable. Superb free breakfast. Can walk to nice resturants. The older gentleman on reception I requested a spoon from in the evening didnt acknowledge me and even said he didnt understand me, even though my spoken German had been understood by otherworldly people all day long, which is shame because all the rest of the staff were great. He was very rude. Had to ask for cups and glasses. Milk supplied in fridge but no tea/coffee. Only overnight stop so no real problem. Would definitely stay again. We asked for parking but they were full. We had to pay for street parking but only until 6pm so that was not a big deal for us. No free WiFi... But not a total deal killer. Free WiFi in todays age is a business requirement. The room didn't have the most updated decor but it was great anyway. Our first room was located directly over the kitchen and suffered from noise and the smell of cooking. When we raised this as a problem we were immediately relocated to another, more acceptable, room. No problems of any kind. There was only one English TV Channel - CNN. The suites do not have any dishes, wine glasses, cups or cutlery despite having a microwave, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The fridge was not stocked with a mini bar. The room was not stocked with drinking water. Leaving. Everything was perfect - nothing we did not like. Although we had a room with a kitchen nothing was provided, even for tea and coffee. You had to go to the reception and ask. Also, the wifi was only free for one hour. It was 4 euro for more. only booking 4 nights when i should have booked more. Kettle provided in room but no teapot or cups etc but hotel did provide on request. Spotless until I looked under the bed - shame it let them down but I would still use them again. Reluctant to fix things , they passed it off as being a old house. Small free parking place. A bit far from the city attractions. No free unlimited wifi. Although bathroom was spotless, there was some dust on certain areas of the bedroom e.g. reading lamps. Perhaps parking could be inproved. The breakfast was basic with limited choice of fruits and cold meats. All the bread in basket was hard and stale. There is no lounge bar. Hotel Mgr would not secure a fan for me. I need it to cut down on the noise at night. 1. Most of the hotel's public computer do not equipped with the choices of languages, especially Chinese! 2. There's not electrical hot water pot in the room, caused some inconveniences!. Lack of parking. The lack of a fan or air conditioning to help cool the room.
