Stephanie and Reinhardt are excellent hosts , very welcoming and helpful.Good breakfast, large comfortable rooms.The free Hochscharzerwald" card gave free bus and train travel as well as access to lots of activities.
Good location in HInterzarten, close to the Titisee and Feldberg. Excellent breakfast. Good walks around the area, very friendly and welcoming hosts.

Hinterzarten is generally more expensive than some other places nearby and we're not convinced it's worth it.
Needed air conditioning or electric fan facility. Room very hot at night.

Nice old facility but didn't see any remodeling since a long time. Minimum standard at the room was not given.
Bottom line: enough to survive the night but no reason to go back or extend the stay.
the promise of wifi in the room was a facke and the wifi in the dinning room was poor.Although we have said the owner on arriving that we shell stay three days instead of four we have been partial charged for the fourth day without receiving an official receipt.not any more.e.
