Nicolas and Nathalie are very friendly hosts. They made us really feel welcome. Our 6 year old son loved the playground and the trampoline and to play with their 3 kids. This is a very special place. Sleeping in a well-appointed cave was unusual, charming, comfortable and (welcome during a heatwave) cool. Beautiful bijou-garden setting, with interior design reflecting artistic flair of Alain, the very obliging and helpful host, who also served a superb breakfast. This place is amazing - the rooms are luxurious (we especially loved the Victoria room, with its massive bathroom and shower), Alain is the most genial and interesting host. Breakfast is full of homemade treats - and good coffee!
This is essentially a family home/estate which has been lovingly restored.
The area and the town of Azay-le-Rideau are very beautiful, and convenient for visting wine producers too.

Delphine was a really lovely hostess. Very genuine and easy going. Fantastic location if a quiet retreat is what you are after. A car is a must. Room was immaculate with beautiful furniture and the bathroom was fabulous. Fantastic pool to relax by surrounded by lovely gardens, birdsong, a donkey and a horse...and of course the resident doggy! -

The accommodation was outstanding with excellent facilities & carefully designed. The family were most welcoming. Breakfast was served in a unique way, on our terrace, and consisted of a wide range of home made products. We were able to park our motorcycle securely in a locked garage which was very useful. -

The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and spoke excellent english. Unfortunately I only had time to have 1 dinner at the restaurant and it was magnificent - worthy of the visit by itself. The breakfasts were sumptuous too, especially the option of a cooked breakfast rather than the staples of bread, meats and cheese.

An excellent choice, the room was clean and comfortable and had cooking facilities, a very quiet environment made for a very relaxing stay. The lady owner was especially helpful to the extent she personally delivered breakfast, she was always available and would ask if everything was okay and her English good enough to give advice as to what was best to do in the near vicinity

This B&B has been beautifully renovated and run by Steve and Linda to provide a friendly and comfortable stay in this lovely area. The optional evening meal is really worth having as Linda is a great cook. Breakfasts included in the price are also good. When in the area next we will certainly go back here.
