  Perfect, central location for exploring Paris. Very nice room with amenities like tea maker, safe, hair dryer, mini-bar. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, high ceiling and big, surprisingly sound-proof window. Staff spoke excellent English and was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. - We loved the whole feel of the hotel.   Our stay was like a dream come true. We loved the old paintings, spiral stairs, velvet, exposed beams and historical ambiance. The location is amazing--just steps away from Centre Pompidou. Norte Dame is also very near and makes a great nighttime stroll. I've stayed here 3 times (twice before it had a refurbishment), and I usually try a new hotel each time I visit Paris, but enjoy staying here. had a room at the front this time with a very Parisian view, and the sound of church bells in the morning.

  I booked the Tonic because I liked that it appeared to be in a genuine Parisian style and wasn't disappointed, the rooms had a nice appearance and has retained some of the buildings original features. It even had its own courtyard off my ground floor room. The receptionist who checked me in spoke excellent English and was very approachable and fr... o que as pessoas dizem » iendly, the maid checked my room, towels and re-made the bed every day, which was a nice touch, in the past I have had to ask for this when needed, bu - I had asked for a change in room location within the hotel. The staff went out of their way & were sincere in ensuring it was done even though it was fully packed over the week. I really appreciate the effort.

  The staff was great! We arrived at 2 am and they were waiting for us with everything ready. The next morning they helped us tremendously with our car reservation ( which the car company could not find). This was very much appreciated since it was a holiday in France and most places were closed. Reception working 24-7, taxi to airport - no problem. Nice renovated room with new furniture. We'll definetely be back again.
