The studio was clean, comfortable, well designed. Good bed and excellent bed settee. Effective air-con. Excellent bathroom, with separate toilet. Excellent kitchen facilities: microwave, hob, dishwasher, fridge, utensils, plates etc and cutlery. Good size dining table. Flat screen and free fast WiFi. Friendly and efficient reception. Nice pool, if a bit chilly. Good breafast available, but with fresh croissants and fruit on sale 5-10 minutes walk away, we only took the breakfast on the first da. todos opiniões
Friendly staff, clean facilities, and a very quiet location, despite being only a 5 min walk to both the local railway (non-TGV) and bus stations. Aix is a vibrant destination, with a range of facilities and attractions from the Cezanne trail, to country walking around Mont Sainte-Victoire, and of course lots of shops including a vibrant market several days a week. Marseille is a half-hour train ride away, and we took the bus to the beautiful beach at Cassis.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Pool area was great after a day sightseeing and shopping. The walk into town was about 10 mins and nice stroll. Parking was easy. We were able to.shop at the markets and cook when we didn't want to go out to dinner.
This hotel seems to have come in for more than its share of criticism It
is what it is, a relatively new hotel with everything you could need but
not a sexy chateau or villa. The pool was excellent the staff friendly
and helpful.
The staff was very helpful, at first with problems signing on to the WiFi and later with our catchimg an early morning train. The fron desk clerk found some rolls for us to snack on. We were very pleased with everything.
Stylish, purpose-built hotel, close to train station. Comfortable room, ood breakbast. Delighted to find we could use washer and dryer in their laundry, and for ony 4 euro!.
Eric at the front deskk was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was updated and comfortable and clean.
we had wifi, a kitchenette and parking.
Staff was very considerate and helpful. We requested a change in rooms since the first room was not suitable and it was done without hesitation.
the rooms are large, clean, and much better than the rooms of other 3 and 4 star hotels that we had when trqvelling through tge south of France.
Excellent location, nice and quiet but not far from the centre of Aix. Hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was great.
The room is large. the price in good. can cook in the room by ourself. The Hotel is clean, the room is very good. and the staff is very hot.
We liked everything about this hotel. We found a little difficult to find but that could be us. Very handy to everything and staff fabulous.
Good localization. Next to Cours Mirabeau. Good room, in fact its a flat. So calm and clean.
Very good breakfast for a good price.
Very convenient for bus to Marseille airport and Aix centre. Quiet location. Pleasant swimming pool.
Small kitchen in the room. Pool is small, but nice. Bowling alley across the street.
The room is well equiped. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere.
Excellent location, staff friendly, secure parking.
Staff friendly and helpful, good size rooms.
Room facilities, parking position.
Staff very nice and helpful.
Comfortable.
Quite hotel within walking distance(< 10 minutes) of the main streets, with its cafe bars, sites and shopping. Very comfortable room and the kitchenette was a real bonus.
The swimming pool was good, even there are no services, except breakfast, and sun presence is reduced due to small backyard around.
Location.
Room was clean and modern with a well appointed kitchen.
Comfortable bed.
Location near bus station, train station and city centre.
The strategic location allows to visit the city by foot.
the staff was extremely friendly and helpful...
Pool was very welcome in the heat.
the hotel location.
Position,.
Reasonable position to centre a short walk.
No fuss.
Good location, pool was a bonus as it was very hot.
Nothing we did not like. Reading previous reviews, there may be scope for misunderstanding of the term "apartment", which the apart-hotel sometimes uses as meaning the same as "studio". There are apartments (in the British/US usage - i.e. with separate bedroom) on the top floor. The other "units" (to use a neutral term) do not have separate bedrooms, so the double bed and bed settee is in the same, sufficiently large room.
Apart from one cloudy morning, the weather was delightful all week. We really couldn't fault either the accomodation or Aix at all. If I have to find one criticism with Aix, it has to be the local dog-owners who let their dogs pooh the pavements - you really have to watch your step!.
No problems.
We enjoy walking so it was not a problem for us but it was a bit away from the center of activity and restaurants.
the hotel entrance and corridors are not the best, it does not have restaurant in case that something is needed.
Room was small and a bit basic.
It's not easy to find the hotel.
Nothing.
Odd smell in breakfast room on first morning.
Expensive breakfast. Room was very small for four people. A little far from the old town and a grocery store.
No restaurants close to the hotel.
Pool area shaded at times during the day and due to size not much room when a crowd of people there.
stairway to reception takes you along bedroom corridors, automatic lights in corridors take time to alluminate, you are in the dark for 5 to 10 seconds
Photos show balcony but only 4 rooms have one, misleading as I assumed all rooms had balcony.
other than breakfast no other food or drinks available.
Location is a bit far from city center (which is like a big restaurant with few buildings inside ;-)).
Virtually impossible to extract toiletries from the hotel. Got soap on the first and third days but only after asking several times. Room was not cleaned at all on the third day.
Room was very small even though we had been "upgraded" to a bigger one on arrival.
Parking was very expensive and should have been included in the room price.
Wifi did not work in the room so had to keep going down to the lobby.
I didn't received the invoice
The room was ready at 4pm.
small room for 4 people, was suppose to be a suite..!! one had to sleep with a mattress that was literally on the floor!!
The window on the terrace was not locking properly...
Location down a one way street not the easiest place to get to.
it's hard to get suitable invoice for financial report on business trip.
breakfast was meager and started at 6.30 a.m.
Very late at check in( at 6 Pm room was not ready).
It was a filthy run down hotel, windows filthy, terraces disgusting, no one cares here. Suite for 4 involved dismantling and building a weird bunk bed, no suite just 1 room.
Don't stay here unless you really have to.
Not a great room for 4 people especially not for self-catering.
Staff not trained well and didn't really care. Room billed as "suite" barely big enough for 2 people, let alone 4. Rooms were not very clean. Overall not very good value as we ended up having to get a second room which made it a vey expensive stay. When we complained, they blamed letsbookhotel.com!.
