The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We had our 13 year old yellow Lab with us and the staff were very attentive and kind to her. The room was super clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choice and the food was really good. The cinnamon buns were great! We would choose to stay here again. Also enjoyed the river walkway

When we checked in the lady behind the desk was very nice. We got some
discount coupons as well (including 15% off Whitespot). There was a
decent size pool and a waterslide which my four year old loved. The Hot
tub and pool and area were all really clean which is often so rare. The
room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was actually quite tasty!

I loved that Jergen & Inga were so knowledgable about the area
& could recommend things to do and places to eat. And, most of
all, Inga makes wonderful breakfasts that you won't want to miss!
The accomodations were spacious & comfortable and it looked out
over the Strait of Georgia. (Please forgive me if I have that body of
water wrong

chairs in which to sit & enjoy the water views. The yard also has

Our room on the third floor was enormous and very well equipped. It looked like it had been recently refurbished with a pleasant colour scheme of browns, creams and coffee colours. The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. The Douglas Street, which is the street that Helm's Inn is on, has tons of restaurants, convenient stores and shops. You can easily walk a restaurant and grab something to eat. I had double booked online and they graciously cancelled one booking without charge. -

Friendly service. Requested items promptly supplied. Building is older wood construction, but room was clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished and clean. Free wifi worked well. Starbucks is around the corner. Dennys and at least 2 other restaurants are within 2 blocks. Close to bus stops, but located on a quiet street - no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful.

The front desk employee was friendly and upgraded our room because one was available. I think the room was probably more comfortable for my aging mother. I also like the desk with a chair to sit comfortably at and read or work with a computer. -
