Setting and accommodation was perfect for us. Field is a tiny place and very quiet set on the valley floor in the Rockies with spectacular views of the mountains. Excellent accommodation - exceptionally clean and comfortable. Luc was a superb host and helped with planning our days out. Field is an attractive small town - take advantage of the talks/tours provided by 'Friends of Yoho'. We had an informative walking tour of the town.

The inn is well situated by the water and is a perfect spot for just relaxing or exploring the middle west coast of Vancouver Island. The owner, Teo, was most helpful and gracious and even gave us (senior couple) an upgrade to the honeymoon suite!. As there was to be a planned power outage at 8:00 the next morning, she did all she could to suggest ways and means to cope with the problem. We had a short stay but a pleasurable one.

We were pleasantly surprised with our little gem of a motel in sicamous. It was extremely clean, and the A/C kept it cool no problem. The room was dark... But when you rent a log finished dwelling, you gotta expect that. For the $$, I'd definatly go back. Staff is super friendly!! -
