The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. A fantastic breakfast was cooked fresh with organic cereals made by the host. There is a puppy on premises (a mini poodle) but this made the stay more pleasant for me. The host is great company during breakfast (I travelled solo) and was a great resource for sight seeing. The house and rooms were spotless

No words exist to describe the food experience and the organization of the hotel, I really loved to eat in the kitchen and to have a look at how the dishes were prepared. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, from the time we walked up the front steps to the time we checked out. We had an issue with our room and it was dealt with quickly and with little fuss. The room we ended up staying in was lovely, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Hotel is in an excellent location and we were able to walk everywhere

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the
RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time
for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just
walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as
the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another
