This is place is a little oasis, situated in a quiet alley just behind the Royal Palace. The staff were fantastic, the rooms and breakfast were great. The restaurant and bar served drinks and food at reasonable prices and stay open long hours, they even serve you at the pool! Helpful little things were to be found here, e.g a guide for tuk tuk prices.

Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main central Phnom Penh sites. Immaculate and very comfortable accommodation; my room had a distinct 'boutiquey' feel to it. Friendly and very helpful staff. Adjoining 'organic' restaurant gives simple but tasty and healthy breakfasts.

Of course the location is very convenient. All important and interesting points are reachable by walking or short tuk-tuk ride.
Staff is nice, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is included, you will not find everywhere.
Room and bed are comfortable. The inside corridor rooms are very quiet from street noise.

Loved this hotel. We booked a different hotel but got upgraded to this one. The staff were lovely especially the receptionist called September. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. suggest a trip to an Island to meet the locals and see how silk is made.
Wonderful day and all arranged by the very helpful staff! Even the tuk
tuk drivers for the hotel were lovely. Beautiful comfortable and clean
room. Very handy to all the attractions, art shops and restaurants. A
must experience is the restaurant Friends! Brilliant! Our first trip
over and we are definitely going back early next year.

The employees were very nice and the bar/restaurant being with the
hotel made it convenient. You can put a card on the door before 11pm and
request what you want for your free breakfast and they deliver at the

Tuk Tuk parked outside. The hotel sorted out our onward journey to
Saigon without an issue. Staff speak good English. Breakfast was good -

The room was HUGE thanks in part to them upgrading us to a suite. Everything is very new and nicely thought out - the design of the place is very tasteful, a mix of modern and traditional. Well located near the riverside and very cheap to get about... their in-house tuk tuk guy was really friendly and always on hand.

This hotel is a 3 stars managed with a 4 stars in mind. The staff is just lovely. Rooms are quiete, pretty big, beds are super comfortable, 4 stars toileteries and cabin shower (note that many budget friendly hotels in Indochina have the shower that flows directly on the bathroom floor). The position is not in one of the several attractions centers of the cit -
this is my 3rd or 4th stay at silver river, still excellent given its price and service. room service food is very good too although there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. always remember to check the shower pressure, air-con, toilet flush etc, varies a bit in diff rooms, get a change of room or tell reception to fix it. there is a handyman around. safety box is very user-friendly!
