The managers were wonderful, the unit was lovely, the town was natural and not over developed, the pool was terrific and the local restaurant Krokodillos was excellent. I fully recommend the York Apartments at Yorkey's Knob! -

The owners Karen and Ian where extremely helpful and professional especially in organising our trips to the reef etc nothing was too much trouble.
I was very impressed with standard of accomodation we had two bedroom apartment with a mountain view which was excellent.
The location was ideal 50 yards from a beautiful beach but conveniant for all the trips associated with Cairns and the surrounding district.
Had a superb time.
