We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

We arrived very late due to airline delays but the young man on reception was most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a compact/budget room that was far better than I expected (having read some negative reviews) and it really was great value for money. Didn't have a car so no need to worry about the carpark. We had no noise issues and had amazing views. Very clean, very comfy beds/pillows, great location as it was just a short walk to the CBD and Salamanca.

this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. -

Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The Hotel was well situated and in easy access of Wynyard where we had a family re-union. Room was comfortable and clean. TV was super and shower was lovely. -
