  The lady there went out off her way to move myself and my children to another room so it would be quieter on her on accord which I thought was lovely of her. And was very pleasant n friendly to speak to. :) - Friendly staff and cleanliness. (Spotlessly clean.) Went out of their way to help. Didn't hear much traffic.

  Plenty of parking, easy access, we stayed in one of the large rooms which was very comfy, and no intrusive traffic noise. No complaints about anything. Staff were friendly, Steve was very helpful.   This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. About ten minutes walk into town which was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful from the night life.Loved the local connection to Papua New Guinea and the artwork at the hotel. The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us. The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

  We stayed here for 2 nights whilst we did the dolphin feeding and a Fraser Island day tour. We loved it and so did the children. The owners were helpful in every way & the rooms were so clean & comfortable. The kids loved the pool and when the tide is out in the bay the scenery is just stunning !! Superb value for money !!   Didn't know the Ridgemont existed until I found while searching on line, a little secluded but close to most things around the city. My wife and I had an upper level room for 2 nights, brilliant view, great to sit on balcony looking out over Strand and Maggie Island. Good value. Didn't get around to utilising the pool, spa or BBQ are but the - Proximity to The Strand, a credit to Townsville Council. Room was clean and neat.
