  The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming.   We are from Invercargill New Zealand and my husband, myself and 22 year old son stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 5 nights. You absolutely could not get anything more spacious, clean, staff friendly and accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. Very happy with our room number 42 at the back of the block, as it was quiet and the balcony very private. VSM is at the centre of Port Douglas surrounded by a great variety of eateries for all tastes and budgets.   Apartment was beautifully furnished and spacious. Amazing location only 100 metres to the beach and about 300 metres to main street. Staff were lovely. Would definitely stay again - Room very comfortable. Facilities great.

Very welcoming and helpful friendly reception staff. Lovely pool in natural rock setting. Only slight drawback is the 6 minute ride into Port Douglas centre but this is more than offset by the tranquility and lush surrounbings of the resort.
