  The setting was great, shame about the weather. The dinner in the dining room on Saturday evening was exceptional. The food and service was outstanding even with 3 large separate parties. - The setting, the area close to the open fire. The Buffet Breakfast. The cafe as a place to enjoy a coffee . The pool area The view from the room lovely.

  The location was perfect. 3 Sisters and Aboriginal Culture Centre a short walk away, as is a fish and chip shop and a winning little restaurant "Pins on Lurline". The bus stop is right outside the side entrance, and the $50 explorer bus pass took us to all the sights, including city buses to farther afield, plus discounts on local attractions! An ideal location for exploring the Blue mountains. We were there when the forest fires were raging but everything was under control. There were many fire fighters staying at the hotel and loads of fire trucks parked around the streets so we felt quite safe. Added to the excitement really.
