It is in a central locatiion, close to public transport, walking distance to the shops, wharf and bus terminals. The Host and Hostess are very helpful and friendly. The building is heritage listed and in good condition. Good opportunity to have conversations with other guests.

expensive during peak season, it was an absolute disaster. I will only
ever stay at the chancellor when I visit Hobart.

A standout for me was my interaction with staff members. Having flexibility on a business trip is critical and they went out of their way to accommodate my requests and ensure everything was set up and ready to go. I also enjoyed the conference rooms and the set up there - very efficient service and a great training venue. -

Friendly Staff, Very comfortable king size bed, cheap mini bar, lovely outlook, clean, close to everything, amazing food in the restaurant, we ate there for breakfast & dinner. The food was yum & such great value & the staff were friendly & gave great service. The accommodation was very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family & friends & everyone else that wants a great value for money stay in Hobart.

The staff were very nice & helpful. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious & well stocked with everything you needed for your stay. The location was excellent as well. I would definately stay again & would highly recommend this place to others. -
Onsite parking, lovely friendly and helpful reception staff (Sean and Chris), fabulous room with little courtyard, beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean, comfy bed, fab facilities, great location, would definitely stay there again, absolutely loved it!!

The best part was that it is actually has a comfortable bed with very comfy pillows. And it is very clean. Staff are friendly and obliging. Very cheap simple breakfast @ $3.50 each. Wonderful! Excellent information provided in your room about the apartment, its amenities, television program, local info, etc. They even advise phone call pricing including calling o/seas. The apartment had everything necessary for our stay in Hobart. it was spacious and comfortable, in a good position for walking around the Harbour and Central city areas. We booked an apartment at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel because (a) it was very central to everything, (b) because we grew up on Vic. sheep properties in the 1940-60s and farmed sheep with Tasmanian bloodlines for wool ourselves and (c) because letsbookhotel.com offered great book-ahead specials.

Edinburgh Gallery Bed & Breakfast is a typical bed and breakfast. It has all basic needs: bed, desk, chair, bathroom and breakfast. Breakfast was ordinary, so dad and I went outside for breaky. Incredible value for money as it is very close to all the sights.
