  Location was perfect! Really nice spot, just a little bit away from the main hwy, but walk distance to the beach. And just next to Bus/Trancit Station (Greyhound). POOOL is perfect!   A very nice place to stay. For the price, you cannot get a better place than this. I will mention the things that I liked: 1. Its like a house, you have the chance of staying there, cook have your own thing, has microwave, stove, kettle, etc. 2. Its just about 10 min away from everything in Surfers Paradise and ffrom the nearest beach. 3. Bus stop... o que as pessoas dizem » is about 5 min walking from it. 4. BWS is almost in front of it, so if you want to have some cheap drinks and get them to your room, this is the plac - Had a very pleasant stay low cost so we had money to spend very comforable beds , very nice staff n ppl around were very nice , very clean was suprised at how clean the shower n toilet was being it was shared but had no disappoint on anything being there I didnt want to leave 5 star rating all round and a big thankyou for sharing this experience with us

  This hostel was fantastic, couldn't fault the place or the staff! Gutted I had to lead but be back very soon!! Very friendly staff and management, travelling on my own and made to feel very welcome and included! Facilities excellent, loved the make shift kitchen while it was being renovated!! Couldn't ask for more!! - The staff was super friendly and wonderful with any questions you had about the city, night life and excretions! Definitely made you feel like you we're at home!

  Best backpackers I've ever stayed in! Staff are outstanding, the place is so clean, beds are good and rooms are decent size, they have a nice balcony area which you can relax or socialise in, good kitchen and they put on free breakfast for you too! Really close to everything, pub downstairs which gives you cheaper drinks if you're a guest (and you... o que as pessoas dizem » can't hear any noise either from upstairs if you want to sleep!), main street right outside, beach is a stones throw away, all in such a perfect litt - The manager is very friendly. I booked weeks ahead not realizing i had to check in on good friday. When I arrived at 10pm, the manager still answered the phone and opened the door to let me check in. And he drove me to the airport for free at 7am the next morning!

  Loved how close we were to Surfers Paradise beach, loved the fact just down stairs was hogs breath and another bar for us to go to. Hostel has got free shuttle bus to town during the day. Good kitchen. Younger girl (with dark hair) working in the hostel was really kind.   I needed to spend one night in the Southport / Labrador area of the Gold Coast [ Ausralia ] .The hotels in the area were all booked out or offering accom well beyond my means.I am 64 years old and probably not your average Backpacker client but having said that i was very pleased with the the room i booked at Trekkas South port . In conclusio - the atmosphere is so relaxing within and around the hostel the people are chilled and you feel comfortable there!! The location is good not far from Surfers Paradise and a big shopping mall is just down the street. Trekkers helped me with a problem i had and the shuttle service is very good and reliable. Also FREE tea & breakfast!!
