  From being picked up and transported to the barge until our return the staff at Kingfisher were helpful, friendly and very efficient. The resort was built into the natural environment and the wildlife (except the dingos) was welcomed. We booked the 4x4 bus trip with an excellent driver, Peter Mayer a great guide,very funny and informative. I would suggest that this trip is a must do. - The guided 4WD bus tour of Fraser Island - Jason was a brilliant tour guide and bus driver through very tough terrain.   Very convenient location and comfortable lodgings to enjoy the sights of Fraser Island. The staff (esp. the restaurant staff) were all very friendly and happy to accommodate our group. On our last night the chef organised an indian curry night for us. The food and service was great and plenty of it! Rooms a bit dated but comfortable and spacious. Location handy to attractions. Under body car wash was great after day out (not sure we were supposed to use it though?)
