  I still think accommodation in the ACT is ridiculously expensive and the Lodge was the cheapest I could find. The shared showers/toilet is a bit o a pain but everything was immaculate and I didn't have to wait to use any of the facilities. The staff was terrific and very accommodating. All the facilities were very clean. The room was comfortable and being able to cook in the kitchen was very handy. The free breakfast is also very good. An excellent option if you're on a budget or an extended stay in Canberra. It's location close to Kingston shops is great. It's also easy to get into the city and a short walk to the lake.

It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out. They didn't INTERROGATE us on the reasons nor did we have to beg for it. No multiple reminder calls or threats ... o que as pessoas dizem » to charge exorbitant extra hours either. Superb! The hardware in this hotel maybe a lil dated, but it is the software(service+attitude) that will keep - We were very happy with our stay, the staff on the front desk were just lovely as were all staff we had contact with. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with service food and price! Our complimentary breakfasts were just the icing on a lovely stay, thank you very much, we will be back and will recommend your hotel to others.
