  We all loved staying at the Mecure Canberra. I booked several rooms for a family trip for 3 nights. They kindly upgraded our rooms when we arrived. It's where old meets modern. One of the rooms was a two level, two bedroom apartment! Really practical for when you have kids in the group. It was all too easy! We will definitely stay there ag - Lovely large room with 2 queen beds in the older part of the hotel (not sure if it was an upgrade). Luckily we had a ground floor room, as there were no lifts. Small but adequate bathroom. The hotel offers good facilities - comfy lounge and bar areas, heaps of parking and helpful staff. The location is excellent with easy access to the city via bus. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and to the War Memorial.
