  My friend and I were very impressed with the Rex. We got such a good price on our stay there that we went with low expectations.   Good value and close to Canberra centre (with car). Staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a nice balcony that overlooked the hills, bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was amaaaaaaaazing (room for two!). Ask for Room 61. - Reception staff were very helpful and courteous

  Very good value for money, the unit was clean with good heating. Car parking was good. The facilities and Restaurant were good clan and good food. The swimming pool area looks nice, but not the weather to try it out. The location to all the things you want to do and the CBD was excellant. - All the dishes and utensils were supplied.   The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to hold our bags until we flew out later that day. They also provided us with a map with things to do while staying in Canberra. The room had everything we needed on our budget and was close to the event which we travelled to be a part of. Will return again a 3rd time - Compact, clean, one-bedroom apartment with all the amenities - dishwasher, washing-machine, coffee maker (pods provided). Excellent location so close to Manuka. Despite the fact that our apartment was around the corner from the main building, room service was available (although we didn't try it). Extras included abundant parking, and a lovely outside grassed area. The hotel also offers gym usage for a fee at Rydges just down the road.
