Meals were good value,prepared fresh,local produce,dined 2 nights. Stayed 2 seperate nights $90 room 4 was more spacious,larger balcony appeared better maintained, was better value than $100 room 8 Beautiful water views,unbelievable sunrise,in both rooms loved it,good value for money Beds were excellent, comfy, so were the pillows, linen & presentation, were 2nd to none. An excellent accommodation and breakfast hospitality provider. Undercover parking a plus. Welcoming and courteous staff. The new dinner and lunch menu was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Bay.
todos opiniões » It was quiet, nicely furnished and clean and fresh. The view from our room was beautiful and the proximity to the water, restaurants and walking track couldn't have been better. Batemans Bay is a world class beauty. The view was amazing, the staff were lovely & the quality of the bed was surprising considering the price of the room. I was so impressed I booked three rooms for January for family visiting from overseas!. Great location, very comfortable stay. Highly recommend although we have seen it in a long weekend where it can get busy and noisy. That said great value we paid thr extra for the the waterview well worth it. We had room that was facing the water , it was fantastic -great view.Very central to shops and restaurants, friendly staff Just what we needed for a weekend away Will definitely stay again. the staff as soon as we entered were very helpful and friendly. The room and view were great .My wife and I travel to BB twice a year and will definitely be returning to this hotel. The staff were brilliant always helpfull and pleasent.. Waterfront. $100 room 8 ,ensuite needs maintainence, but the morning sunrise makes it all worthwhile, doesn't come any better than this, love the water sunrise. A tall or heavily built person would feel very uncomfortable showering in the bath as the ceiling was very low. Nothing. When purchasing drinks at the Bar , I would like to see a person ring it up on the register so as to know what I am being charged and to be able to get a tax slip. All very satisfactory. What I didnt like about it was that it didnt have a microwave or an oven. For the amount of money that I had payed for, it didnt have those facilities, and therfore it was hard to cater for a 1year old. so that is the reason I have given it a poor mark for the facilities. not the fault of the hotel - but everywhere seems to close early - must be an Australian thing!. Water pressure in the shower was lousy. Their cleaners need to work harder in the bathrooms. It was the only thing to detract from our stay. Hotel Name board is not visible properly for the new visitor. I parked the car at road and walk near to the hotel to identify the place. swimming pool should be heated. Plastic shower curtain, bathroom could do with a bit of attention, and think the rooms which ok, could do with a little bit of a paint job would bring them right up to date. No dislikes at this time. -the paint smell -that the room was only partly refurbished (but nice and clean/tidy at the same time.). Wasn't very impressed with the pub attached but plenty of other places locally to eat and enjoy a couple of drinks. I was not aware until I arrived that the motel was a motel / hotel and we were concerned about the noise from the hotel. However there was no problem this time as the place seem to clear out early but I suppose other time it could be a problem. My room was an adjoining one and I could hear the man next door talking on his phone. Entree and main meal arrived together when dining in the bistro. No wine glasses in the room. Would have liked some plates and cutlery. Little dated. The walls were paper thin I could hear the people next to me. The towels were too thin and small.Rooms should have toasters. Not impressed with hotel restaurant, sold out of main dish by 7pm. Nothing. no screens on balcony door,no exhaust fan in bathroom. The bathrooms are a bit old and wifi could be faster. Rooms need to be renaveted.
