Peaceful and quiet. Although there was some noise from big trucks crossing the Clyde river Bridge when we sat outside overlooking the river, once inside the unit, road noise could not be heard. Although old and in need of renovation, the unit was clean, and had ample parking. There is a restaurant on site which has great meals, and while there are some renovations happening, they offer a discount on meals. A continental breakfast was included in the price. todos opiniões » From the moment we walked in the lady at reception was extremely welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she gave us all the information we asked for. The continental breakfast was a real treat and the same lady was there at breakfast time, again very friendly and helpful, the room was basic but very clean and comfortable with a great view of the river and Batemans Bay. I would definitely recommend to other travellers. Great value for money. The stand out for us was the food, which was very very impressive. We had dinner and breakfast there and they were all simple dishes, but cooked to perfection. I have stayed at 5 star luxury many times and haven't had bacon and eggs that well cooked. Compliments to the chef as well as the owners for recognising that you don't need super luxury and gourmet dishes to make a visit memorable - just get the basics right! Thank you!. Inground pool wasn't as clean as I'd like, although we did stay in early Spring so it's not quite swimming weather yet. My kids still wanted to try the pool of course! I hope they update soon, especially the rundown exteriors as it has so much potential :). The only thing I didnt like was having to leave.... The bed was too near the wall and the mattress was soft. TV was small. only little thing was there was no face washer in the bathroom and i didnt feel the door leading to the back was secured enough if you pushed it when locked it would half flex,just needed extra locking in the middle of the door not just the floor lock. N/A. Like most people, the rooms are a tiny bit dated but I liked them and they suited what we where there to do, store our luggage and to sleep. The buildings need a bit more maintenance but nothing major. Everything was nice. The rooms are alittle tired but it didn't matter. Air conditioning and mattresses needs updating. The bed - uncomfortable!!!. I had no hot water at the hand basin, which obviously didn't happen that morning. One of our group had to change rooms due to a blocked toilet. i was not aware on booking that we did not have maid service - but it did not bother any of us. fitting a bit dated and slow hot water. Due to the refurbishment of some rooms we were out of range of the free wi fi. I'm knit picking though. Refrigerator in the room didn't work ... a bit of a shame as I'd bought some prawns and couldn't keep them cold so I had to throw them out. I would like to see the rooms upgraded, This would be an amazing place if it could see some refurbishment. I would like to see a microwave in each room. The weather, it rained the whole three days!. A sleepless night because one can hear the loud rattle of trucks passing across the iron bridge every 15 minutes or so. Double-glazing would fix that problem... Bed too soft and to low. I had some difficulty in locating the resort since I was driving and new to the area. May be some improvement needed in the outside Hotel sign board which should be prominently displayed. Room getting a bit long in tooth, probably needs some upgrading but the shower worked great. The wifi signal in the room was rather weak. That's not really a problem as the signal at the hotel lobby was very good. Some water pressure problems but overcome with s bit og mixing. Could have done with a paint touch up. Would have liked to stay another night but had to go :(. Getting tired which will deter families who want some luxury on holiday. The bridge noise but after the first night you didn't hear it as much. Internet advertising was disappointing...Lack of clear commmunication regarding meal times available at the resort. Nothing. Cleanliness in rooms bit average. Bit of a repaint in rooms and around venue needed.
