very comfortable rooms. The pool was nice. The whole inn was very clean
and well-taken care of. The continental breakfast had great breads and

room was lovely. All in all, a great, quiet place to stay. -
The family that runs the inn are just wonderful, Kate has the two cutest little boys you could ever imagine -- Sam who is only 15 mos old came out at breakfast to hand us all our cutlery. laid back and friendly, and the room was spacious and spotless -- loved having the little mini kitchen too.

This is another great place where to stay in Stowe. This place is nice, cool and cozy. Owners are really nice and helpful so we felt very welcome. We like the breakfast as well as the pool with hot bath. This time we had the "economy room" which is small and little dated, but for the price still ok. Next time we will choose another room. The young couple who own and operate the Norhern Lights are wonderful. Go out of their way to meet the customer's needs. Late check in...no problem. Can't get wi-fi...fixes the router right away. Makes a point to keep up to date on other business' in the area so they can give good advice to their customers. Absolutely beautiful! We can not wait to go again in the winter. All of the staff were very friendly & courteous. The views are breathtaking.
The rooms were very comfortable with silky feeling sheets.

Bud is an amazing Innkeeper. He's an old throw-back hippie like
myself. The place is a bit far from the action in Stowe, but perfect for
a romantic getaway. The rooms are a bit small and rustic, but if you are
aware of that they will not disappoint. Eat breakfast late, and you get
to talk with the hosts essentially alone. Most of the others get up and
out early to go hiking!
