The rooms were really nice and the beds were super comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The on-site gym was under repair during my visit but they provided guest aces to the YMCA gym just around the corner. ironically that was one of the highlights of my trip as the Y had one of the best retired weight rooms I have seen in a long time. -

Very helpful staff. Clean, beautiful layout with 2 pools overlooking Mission Bay / marina. Very relaxing environment. I look forward to returning. We went to the FireFly bar (got in about 9:30 pm) and did not go to any other restaurant/bar. We left our car there the next day as we went to Sea World - walking distance and there is a shuttle.

For a best western it has so much character, very nice design, nice to look at and rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained.
Nice pool area and fitness suite.
Lovely location in the Old Town, within a minutes walk of local restaurants and bars.

The BW Hacienda is our main reason for visiting San Diego. Our return for a second vacation in SD this year was because we have found this central, traditional-style, good-value hotel in the Old Town. My husband and I were celebrating our silver wedding and booked 3 nights at the hotel,we loved every minute of our stay.
The hotel was amazing,the location was fabulous and we just loved to watch the sunset on the beach.
We hope to return soon,and will plan a longer stay next time,thank you. -
