The location was great for access to Volcano National Park. The tour of the on-site lava tube was great. The setting was beautiful. Breakfast first day seemed kind of limited for kids but realized Shannon thought is was for two adults. Once she found out I was traveling with my daughter she put out "kid-friendly" options. Very, very responsive. -

location was excellent, lava tour on their property was fascinating, and family room #5 accommodation was spacious and well equipped with everything you could need - owners have excellent Aloha spirit and are accessible on property. Beautiful surroundings and proximately to National Volcano Park

Eric, the owner, is an extremely friendly and sympathetic guy. Normally he rents out the complete house as a retreat center to groups. Everything! Eric, the owner,gave us a tour so we would know where things were. We had a 2 bedroom suite with lanai and bathroom for $90. Unheard of value. Laundry was down the hall and free with detergent and softener provided. There is a well stocked kitchen for use by all guests. Very quiet and pleasant place.

This place has a some kind of a charm that might not be obvious at first
glance. It felt like living in a real Hilo, not just a random hotel that
could be the same anywhere in the world. It`s not shiny and new but

Loved this place, Highly recommend staying here, very relaxed cool place
to stay. Awesome friendly staff, especially Dave!!! Thanks heaps for
showing us all the cool sites to see like the waterfalls, black and
green sand beaches, with the turtles, 4x4 track near the cliff and blow
hole jump, wow too many to mention, just ask them when you get there. Oh

Maureen is a splendid host, always give you tips of what you can do on the island and make you feel like you are at home, vey cozy place!!!. The room was good and the best of all is the comfortable bed.
It's near to the airport but not close enough to hear the planes and you have a beach at 1 block that you can swim with turtles.
Absolutely recomend this B&B and if I go again to big island I definitely return here.
