  I enjoyed everything about the Hotel East Houston. The room was spotless, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Its proximity to the subway and a being on a main route through lower Manhattan via the bus was highly convenient. The breakfast was better than expected - very fresh quality with lots of selection.   Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement.
