This lodge has the best view of Mt McKinly from its back overlooking porch. When you check in ask for a room with a view. There are hiking trails. You can sometimes see Moose right outside. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its right out side of Talkeetna, so you can go to that neat city easily. -

Really enjoyed my 10 nights here fornteh aurora. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. I chose this nHotel on the outskirts of town, formteh aurora, it had darker skies, and I saw them quite a few times!! There is a busstop out fron, but be aware that minimal to no service at weekends. -

I have no complaints. I was in and out, stayed 5/7 nights on a week
vacation. It was a solo vacation and I felt safe. I was greeted by name,
had assistance for storage of belongings, obtaining a taxi, and
recomendations for meals. They have internet and a printer to get your
boarding pass. The bed and linen were great, I had back spasms and spent
a fair amount of time resting. I would stay there again.

Everyone at the hotel was really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. They will also pay for your taxi to and from the airport which is a nice bonus! -
