The hotel was very convenient for visiting the city. The trolley stop is only a short walk. The hotel is an old New Orleans house and very atmospheric. Much nice than an anonymous chain hotel as long as you don't expect the same facilities. It's a bit like staying in someone's house. The family are delightful: friendly and very helpful but not too intrusive as they are only around during breakfast. We only wanted somewhere to sleep as we were out all day and evening so it suited us perfectly. wszystkie opinie »
Fairchild is in an excellent location to tour New Orleans! The feeling
of friendly atmosphere! Breakfast was wonderful and the owner gave
wonderful informations for things to do and see!!!! We will come back
and stay here!!!.
Perfect location! A few blocks from great shopping on Magazine Street, a few blocks from an organic vegetarian restaurant/juicebar, and a few blocks from the trolley to take you into the French quarter.
Fairchild House was great. A historic hotel in a great area in New Orleans. A short Tram Trip to the French quarter. The rooms were spacious and had a nice historic feel to them.
my room was charming, clean, roomy, and comfortable. the staff was helpful carrying my suitcase upstairs and downstairs (I had a hip replacement recently). I will return!.
