  Everything was great. Don't let the exterior fool you. Very welcoming, from the staff to the environment. Beach is literally steps away. It is lively all around. We asked for a beach/ocean view and were upgraded upon - Brilliant, friendly & helpfull staff. It's right on the famous boardwalk next to plenty of restaurants & a small convenience store. It's secure, with a good safety deposit box in the room & I felt safe despite the colour characters going in & out at night. My room was also impeccably clean, as was the whole hotel. - The staff at this hotel were sensational! We got to check-in early, had our bags carried up 3 flights of stairs (because the elevator was on the fritz) and got to check-out late so we could sleep off our jet-lag. Plus they have one of the best lobby spaces I've ever seen and there's rooftop access to watch the sunset over Venice.

I liked how cleaned and comfortable the room felt and was. I liked how everything was a reach away and how everything you could think of was in the room. The gym was excellent and the swimming pool area although small was perfectly adequate. Location is excellent - right on West 3rd, a couple minutes' walk from the Beverly Center, great restaurants on 3rd, and boutique shops.

  Although this is a classical airport hotel, it is a good hub to visit LA, Hollywood, Universal and Disney. Sorry could't say anything without comparing to Sheraton…coz we went to Crowne just becouse rudeness of the stuff at Sheraton's desk. Besides, bath stuff was really nice.
