marina del rey is perfectly located. my room had a beautiful view on to the harbour. the all staff were lovely and helpful. this hotel is a real gem. ok so it needs a refurb, and there is a bit of noise from the other floors but this is more than made up for with the plus points of which there are many.

We wanted a hotel close to the Getty Museums and Santa Monica. We were nervous about the people density of L.A. and, being walkers, had heard poor reports of the lack of pedestrian-friendly paths and even sidewalks. The hotel location was perfect. This is a fun hotel. There was a happy hour with a free drink and chips, which encouraged socialising among the guests. Very friendly, professional staff. Everyone was nice and always had a smile on their face, but not at all in an obnoxious way. Sam is very helpful. The room is quite large and spacious, and the bed comfy. Bathroom is nicely done, too. Location is excellent - right on West 3rd, a couple minutes' walk from the Beverly Center, great restaurants on 3rd, and boutique shops.

Excellent view from the room, the restaurant on the 17th floor was really good. Excellent viewes with great food and a very good selection of drinks.
The pool is small but nice with a small gym but efficient.
Ideal for getting to Sunset Boulevard and also Santa Monica.

Rooms were spacious, nicely appointed, updated and very clean. There was a refrigerator in the room. The pool is very nice (hot tub also) and is surrounded by an attractive patio area; it stays open quite late. There are a lot of meeting facilities that are reasonably priced. The staff always accessible, friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks and three decent restaurants on site.
