Enjoyed the facility itself, but the staff made our stay more pleasurable. The location was within walking distance to almost all of Newport.

I love that the hotel is unique and desn't feel like any chain hotel. I also love the history of the hotel and that it has been open since 1929.

I thought the Inn had everything that we needed for our week end in Newport, RI. The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was great. Plus, there was always a pot of fresh coffee. I would book this Inn again. Thanks to all the staff. -

I was truly pleased with this particular location. We are a middle aged couple who just decided to take off midweek for a quick trip to the cape/Newport etc. Staff was so friendly, helpful and courteous. Upon arrival the concierge paid attention to our personal trip plans and
upgraded our 2 queen room to a king room with full 2 person jacuzzi for
the same price - it totally changed the whole trip for us - we hardly
ever left the room!! We were within 2 minutes walking distance to some
of the best food in newport - and the beach was right across the street

The staff is pleasant and willing to assist you in any way from getting
directions to giving you change for the washer and dryer. We enjoy the
hotel's proximity to the beach, but also it is conveniently located
close to grocery stores and downtown. -

The large bedroom and oversized king bed. THe bathrooms were well
equipped with blow dryer and various sundries. The decor is consistent
with the era. We drove 5 minutes to the restaurants and beach. The

Friendly welcome right from the start, nice large comfortable room, good continental breakfast, easily accessible to Newport, quiet location so sleep was easy, Old boutique type property but well maintained.

The restaurant was wonderful. We went there for dinner and breakfast and really enjoyed it. It was very good for a hotel restaurant.
The price was also reasonable for Newport in the summer. -

For the money we spent it wasn't that bad at all. It was close to a
shopping center. Walmart, stop n shop , dunkin donuts, subway, Chinese
food and much much more. It was only a 10 min drive to downtown Newport.
If you are looking for a budget place to stay for a night this isn't
a bad place at all. -
