The Dupont Circle provided a special experience from the moment we arrived. The design was contemporary with a touch of luxury but the atmosphere was relaxing and not pompous. The location was perfect for my husband and I and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk to the national monuments (about 30 mins). The Dupont cafe menu and food were very enjoyable

The hotel appeared to have been recently renovated, and the rooms and public spaces were clean and stylishly modern in look. The location was TERRIFIC. Easy access to Metro. Tons of restos and stores within walking distance.
The employees we dealt with were courteous and very responsive. All in all, it was a great place to stay for a long weekend in DC.

This was one of the best hotels that I ever stayed as a tourist. The quality you get for the price you pay is phenomenal. (Most of) the staff was extremely friendly, especially the girl at the reception who helped us with the check-in. The room and the bathroom have everything you need and even more. The room delivery service works as it should. All in all, a great choice.

Great staff, service. Very helpful, never ignored, clean, with great amenities. Like any trip item you forgot, they provide! Also great location to sightsee and hundreds of amazing restaurants. Overall loved it! Someone trained this staff to be very courteous and helpful, without an ounce of attitude or disdain. Very much appreciated.

The location to the Metro was excellent for me. Proximity to DupontCircle a bonus , for visitors like me that was not initiallyappreciated as being so significant - so your website could emphasiseit a bit more perhaps. - Location is great, quiet although close to lively Dupont Circle andMetro, spacious room, friendly staff.

the lobby is beautiful and there are interesting facts about the history of the hotel posted in many places. the location is ideal. one of the maids thanked us in writing for our tip and asked that God bless our family. we were very touched by this gesture. room service was very fast and the bell hops are very helpful. -

For a city hotel, the room was very large easily accommodating 2 queen size beds along with an easy chair plus ottoman. Upon arriving at the hotel our room was instantly upgraded to an Executive Suite for no additional charge. We were very interested in the complimentary wine hour, but since our morning was hectic we did not attend it. The location is perfect and 5 blocks from the White House. Also it is a 10 minute cab ride to Georgetown. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.

Everything at the the hotel was top of the line, from the staff to the pillows. They gave new gym cloth in order to stay at the fitness center until it was time to go to the airport. I stayed at the hotel with my 18 year old son, both of us thought the Melrose was a very good hotel with large very comfortable rooms. The location was very good 15 min walk to the Lincoln Memorial or White House and only 5 min to Georgetown or the Metro.
