  We liked that the air conditioning was on when we arrived. The room was clean and quaint. Conveniently located. The staff was very friendly. - Very nice and helpful staff and great location. My room was also very comfortable, with a nice, high ceiling.

  The rooms were very large, and the bathrooms must have been recently renovated. Breakfast at the Inn had great food, great service, and was very reasonably priced. The wait staff was very helpful and answered our questions about the Inn and where to get apple cider donuts.   The Greenporter is a retro styled hotel and works very well as exactly that. It doesn't pretend to be a luxury hotel and doesn't charge as one. We liked it a lot. It also has an extremely good chef, my wife rated one of the dishes she ate as the best she'd ever eaten, and she is not given to overstatement. The hotel is ideally located for walking into the town which has an abundance of nice bars and restaurants.
