George, the front office manager, went the extra mile to make us feel at

and in both stays George and his staff were excellent! The room
furniture and fittings superb. Convenience of shuttle to subway was a
real bonus! I'd recommend another stay at Hotel de Point anytime!

Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). very friendly and courteous staff, rooms very clean. Needed to replace our blowdryer at 10:00 p.m., staff was there within 10 minutes with a new one.
